GOVERNOR PATERSON ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF ADDITIONAL AGENCY SPENDING REDUCTION PLANS
The Division of the Budget (DOB) today posted 16 additional approved Financial Management Plans submitted by executive commissioners in response to Governor Paterson’s call for a 3.35 percent reduction in projected agency spending. These spending plans are available on the Division of the Budget’s website.
DOB is currently in the process of reviewing the remaining plans to ensure that the savings agencies proposed are real, recurring, and achievable. As additional proposals are approved, they will be posted to DOB’s website. Updates will be added to the site quarterly to show agencies’ progress in achieving their savings goals, and all plans are expected to be approved no later than June 30.

- Foundation for Science, Technology and Innovation (NYSTAR)
- Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence
- Public Employment Relations Board
