Mission
The Office of Victim Services provides compensation to innocent victims of crime in a timely, efficient and compassionate manner; funds direct services to crime victims via a network of community-based programs; and advocates for the rights and benefits of all innocent victims of crime.
Budget Highlights
The 2015-16 Executive Budget recommends $111.6 million for the Office of Victim Services, an increase of $36 million over 2014-15, which is directly attributable to additional Federal grant funds which support the Victim and Witness Assistance Program. The Executive Budget also recommends a workforce of 74 FTEs, unchanged from 2014-15.
